Review: Tantus T-Rex for SexToys.co.uk

This review is, quite literally, a big one.

I’ve reviewed semi big items before, like the Rocks Off Butt Boy and the Njoy Pure Plug 2.0, both of which are about 2″ wide. But this one is a step further. I mean look at it…

The T-Rex is one of Tantus’s bigger dildos. But it’s not just the size that makes it a big deal, it’s the shape and the firmness. I have a VixSkin Randy dildo that’s, as near as makes no difference, the same width, but that’s a lot easier to take as it’s made from dual layer silicone with a soft outer layer. This one isn’t. It’s crafted from Tantus’s harder, firmer silicone. Sure, Tantus do produce toys in softer silicone. They’re O2 material is a dual layer kind, similar to VixSkin. But this isn’t one of them. This is firm. Now, firmness on its own is usually fine, assuming you can cope with the size of the toy. This dildo is different from its competitors because of the pronounced head. Take a moment to check out that coronal ridge.  It’s the cause of the most intense anal penetration I’ve ever had.

The T-Rex itself is 2.25″ wide and, because of the huge balls, you can insert about 6″ of its overall 8.5″ length. What makes this toy intense though, well more intense than a regular 2.25″ wide silicone cock, is the corona. It sticks out by half an inch and is extremely firm. I mean look at it. Look at the corona! No, not that Corona, *that* corona…

So, even though I knew I could take the girth of the T-Rex, I was keener than usual to try it out. I remember when it first came out. Sex bloggers were half intrigued and half scared by it. Or just completely scared by it. Personally, I just wanted to try it out, but I admit I was unsure whether the huge ridge would feel good or not.

I didn’t really think much about it again though, until I was asked by sextoys.co.uk to browse their site for toys and see if I wanted any to review. There are a few criteria I always search for when checking out any sex toy store: Tantus, Njoy and Fun Factory, usually, and of course the obligatory search for chastity devices. So when I searched for Tantus toys, this one came up and went straight on my list. It arrived a day later and, although it was boxed with a few toys for me to try, this was the one I used first. Sure, the others were enticing, but not like this one. I was so excited, I took a quick selfie with it…

Incidentally, if ‘butt selfies’ are called ‘belfies’, what are ‘dildo selfies’ called? ‘Dilfies’? I might have to coin that term. So after my delfie, I had to try it out. Now, even though I’ve used big toys before, I always have to warm up beforehand. Always. I’m sure some people can just go straight for the big ones. Not me. I need to warm up every time. So I picked a selection of toys along with my favourite Sliquid Sassy lube and worked my way up (see below).

Even after the VixSkin Randy, it felt huge. I remember the first time I tried to use it. I could feel the ridge goading me. It was taunting me. Teasing me. It felt bigger than it actually was. When I finally pushed it in, the pop felt very *very* intense. So much so that I had to take a couple of seconds to check I hadn’t hurt myself. When I’d relaxed enough to try it more, after a few moments, I began to thrust with it. Slowly at first, but deliberate. The feeling was amazing. The ridge provided a type of sensation I wasn’t used to. The closest word I can use to describe it is ‘scraping’, but it doesn’t scrape in a painful way. It’s just a firm, pronounced, isolated pressure. I must point out that I used the toy deliberately with the ridge pointing towards my prostate.

After a couple of minutes, I tried to remove the toy. Removal was even more intense than insertion. The corona felt firmer than before and, on the way out, the ridge is even more pronounced. Again, I had to check whether I’d done myself any damage but no, I was absolutely fine. I tried it once more. Again, there was a stretching pain upon insertion and removal but I’d done it. I’d tried the T-Rex and it hadn’t beaten me. I was a little exhausted with the effort and the adrenaline and the pain, but I felt awesome.

The next time I tried the T-Rex, however, was different. I was prepared this time. I knew what it would feel like and was prepared. A lot more prepared, to be honest. The first time I tried it, I should have probably taken more time warming up, but you know what it’s like when a new dildo arrives in the post… You just want to use it, right? Well this time, I slowed down and prepared properly. Now I have bigger, girthier toys than the T-Rex, but I deliberately didn’t want to use them first, as I wanted to feel that stretch again. I wanted to feel the pop as I put it inside me. So I warmed up, but this was still the biggest toy of the day when I tried it for a second time. And it felt amazing! It was intense, again, but I was ready for it, and something else happened this time. After just a single thrust, I began to milk my prostate. Not deliberately, at all. That wasn’t my intention. But the pressure from the coronal ridge over my prostate just hit the spot and I began to ejaculate (not orgasm, you must understand). I kept thrusting and it felt amazing. After a few minutes it didn’t feel big anymore, either. I could slide it in and out completely with no pain or stretching and it felt fantastic. The ridge still felt pronounced and hefty, but there was no discomfort. None at all.

Now, I must warn you. The Tantus T-Rex won’t be for everyone. It’s huge, it’s firm and it’s intimidating. But it is also breathtakingly good. I admit that, like most sex toy reviewers, I was unsure of the ridge at first. Had Tantus done the right thing? Was it a good idea or was it just going to feel uncomfortable? Well they have. It’s an amazing dildo. Since it arrived, I have used it every single time I’ve played anally. Every single time. Even when testing new, smaller toys, I always finish with the T-Rex. If you’re a size queen, like me, then you’ll love it!

You can pick one up from sextoys.co.uk in the sale for £49.95 with free delivery and if you click the banner below, you’ll receive an extra 10% off when you enter the code RUFFLED10 at the checkout.

That is one intense dildo! I love the way you write, definitely brings across the intensity of it (as if looking at that intimidating hunk of silicone wasn’t already.) I’m definitely going to steal “delfie” though, haha

      Thank you so much!

It definitely was an intense toy, that’s for sure. I’m glad my writing brought that across.

I checked on Twitter and apparently the #delfie tag is used for dog selfies! So I’ve edited the article and used ‘dilfie’ instead!
